The search for happiness is a fundamental goal in people’s lives. We all long to experience a state of well-being and satisfaction that brings us fulfillment and joy.
However, sometimes we find ourselves seeking answers on how to effectively achieve and cultivate happiness.
That’s why Harvard University has launched an exciting new online course titled “Managing Happiness,” which promises to provide the necessary tools to build a happier and more meaningful life.
Led by Harvard professor Arthur Brooks, this six-week course is based on the modern science of human well-being and offers a unique perspective on understanding and managing happiness in our lives.
Through this course, participants will have the opportunity to explore various definitions of happiness and understand its role in our daily lives.
One of the highlights of this course is the application of the science of mind, body, and community to manage our emotions and behaviors with the aim of achieving greater happiness.
Participants will learn how to develop a personalized “happiness portfolio” focused on their deepest goals and desires. Additionally, it will explore how success and achievements impact our short-term and long-term happiness.
This course will be conducted on the online platform edX, with a duration of six weeks and a time commitment of 2 to 3 hours per week.
Although the course is in English, Spanish-speaking participants will be able to access and understand the content without difficulty.
