DIF launches free English courses for children: How and where to enroll?

English proficiency has become an invaluable skill. Beyond being a foreign language, English is a tool that opens doors to academic and job opportunities, enabling those who master it to communicate effectively in a wide range of international contexts.

Between the ages of 6 and 12, children undergo a developmental phase that encompasses both their intellectual and emotional-social growth.

Learning English during this period not only fosters the acquisition of a second language but also stimulates the development of essential personal, emotional, and social skills.

Recognizing the significance of this universal language, the National System for the Integral Development of Families (DIF) has launched an initiative that aims to not only teach English to children from an early age but also promote holistic development in this crucial stage of their lives.

The social program “Wellness Learns DIFferent,” driven by DIF, aims to provide a more comprehensive and enriching education to elementary education students.

Free English courses have been introduced, targeting children aged between 5 and 16. These courses not only offer them the opportunity to learn an essential language in a globalized world but also encourage their personal and emotional development in a pivotal stage of their lives.

The requirements to enroll in these courses are straightforward: students must be between 5 and 16 years old, enrolled in an elementary education school, and submit documents such as official identification, proof of residence, and, if participating in sports activities, a medical certificate.

Registration can be completed online or in person at DIF centers. For more information, please refer to the following link.
